This unit came from a small company that transferred home videos onto DVDs.  It plays Super 8mm videos only.

It has a problem with film auto-feed mechanism.  It's not a big deal, though.  You just need to hold a flat tool (such as a butter knife) at the right spot to guide the film as it loads.  It's missing a door that covers the light, which means you might need to drape something over the light to prevent too much light from escaping.

Everything else works fine except the 18-24 and "etc-normal" switches, which do nothing. But the previous owner installed a variable speed knob on top of the projector that can adjust the speed from way too slow all the way to way too fast.   It has stereo sound capabilities for videos that have sound, and it is capable of recording audio onto a video that has a sound track, but these functions have not been tested. The audio output jack is mono sound, and to get stereo sound it is necessary to obtain a special connector from Elmo.
