Vintage Steampunk Bifocal Eye Glasses - Metal Side Screens.

These unusual bifocal glasses have metal side screens, probably to protect the eyes.

These side screens move so that it's easier to transport or store the glasses.

The metal frames show signs of age, but I wasn't sure how to clean them, so I'm leaving that to the next owner.
