1892 Columbian Exposition half dollar/50 cents, made of 90% silver and containing .362 troy ounce of pure silver. The coin is lightly circulated and is uncertified. Slightly iridescent toning in some areas.  While I am not a professional grader I would guess that it completely matches the criteria for Fine or better, with clear hairlines on the front and detailed globe lines and ship rigging on the reverse. But please judge yourself by the scans provided.

At May 18 spot price for silver bullion the metal alone is worth about $11.20.  The collector's value of this historic coin is much higher.

Those coins struck in the year 1892 are rarer than those from 1893, when about 60% more coins were minted.
