After many years of collecting, I have decided to slim down my personal collection this year - I will be listing many hard to find items over the coming months, most are in excellent condition as I have always striven for the best possible condition where possible. I will do my best to describe the condition of the item in the way that I would expect it myself, and I will include multiple pictures of all items I list.
Offered for Buy it Now is the PAL Sony PlayStation / PSone Combo System & 5" LCD Screen as described and pictured. This system is brand new, never removed from the box. Please check all pictures carefully as these form part of the description of the actual item you will be buying.

This PSone Combo system was bought by myself back in the early 00's from UK retailer Curry's. At the time, with the PlayStation 2 the future of the PlayStation brand they were being sold off as clearance. Outside of opening the box at the time (the same as the last picture) to check the contents, I have never removed any of it from the box, and it was put on the shelf to display. As you can see, the box is in generally excellent condition, with some shelf wear (mainly on the edges). There is a red pen mark on the underside of the box which was there at the time of purchase.
As it has never been removed from the box I have no way to confirm it's functionality, but I would be highly surprised if it were not working. If you intend to use it, you may need to have capacitors replaced etc. I have no way of knowing if this will be needed. I have not personally experienced such issues with PSone consoles, but this will be down to the buyer to decide.
Domestic postage within the UK will be £15.00 for a secure service with tracking (I will send via Special Delivery or similar) and item will be well packed in a sturdy box to ensure it gets to you in the same condition it leaves me.
International courier shipping within Europe will be £60.00 for a fully insured service with tracking and item will be well packed in a sturdy box to ensure it gets to you in the same condition it leaves me. Shipping worldwide outside of Europe (USA, Australia etc) will be £120.00 for an insured service with tracking and item will be well packed in a sturdy box to ensure it gets to you in the same condition it leaves me. I have based these prices on the high cost of insurance - a smaller package to Spain insured to £600 recently cost me £52.00 to send via UPS...
Please be aware if you are buying from overseas that I will need to insure the item for the value it sells for - you are responsible for any import tax or VAT that the package attracts when it enters your country (as I am when I buy from abroad!) - In many cases you will pay this up front via eBay and I will ensure all relevant details are present on the packaging.
