Ornithology print, engraving by F. W. Frohawk, taken from "British Birds with Their Nests and Eggs", by A.G.Butler, published in the 1890s: this illustration showing the JACKDAW. The plate has been taken from a sadly deteriorated copy of Vol II of the series. Minor buckling at bottom edge. A little browning around the edges, more so at bottom and right. The art seems to be in perfect condition.  

Image area is 22.7cm x 17cm. Overall, approx. 31.5cm x 24.7cm. Left margin a bit wider than right. Lower margin 4.9cm. Right edge rough.
