Description: Very Rare Original 1940's Pecos Church Cross (Ruins), San Miguel, NM 14x11 Silver Gelatin Print

Up for auction is a one-of-a-kind original silver gelatin print from the original negative in the 1940's. A time capsule of American landscape B&W photography.

You will receive the actual print that was produced in a dark room by the photographer, unfortunately I do not know who the photographer was, as much as I have tried to identify them.

These photos were part of an estate where I received an assortment of photos from Washington State and New Mexico all from the late 1930's to 1940's.

All photos are described as best as possible and photos taken to show any defects that may exist. I have done my best to identify the location whenever it was possible.

These will make an exceptional addition to anyone's art collection, and although the photographer is unknown to me, it resembles some of the greatest photographers from that time including Ansel Adams, Ernest H. Brooks, Brett Weston, Minor White, David J. Lang, Albert S. Adams, Frank M. Johnston, Ray Atkeson, Jack R. Nisbet, and some of these are some world class photos for their time.

All of the framed art are set in brand new economical frames with plastic covering and framed by myself, mainly for protection of the photo and for presentation appearance. Photo description, size, and any issues to the photo and/or backing will be presented below.

Special Notes: Developed in a dark room by the photographer. This photo has a little "smudge" to the left of the cross, and has a small crease in the upper left corner. (View Photos)

The photo measures just shy of 11x14, that's why it's matted in a 10x13 opening in a 16x20 frame.

Note: All photos are complete and in great condition for their age. If a photo has a particular flaw it will be addressed and precisely noted. Photos may have random minor discoloration, small blemishes, etc whereas otherwise unnoted. I take very accurate and precise photos. Please view all photos carefully.
