The lens is vintage is a late model for a pre AI lens circa 1974-75 lens with the N.C Multi coatings.
It looks really nice and has very good color rendition and very Sharp it takes a 52mm filter.
The lens has very light grease on Focus threads and ideally needs re-greasing.
Note if you shake the lens you here the some play it sounds like a loose screw but it not. I think it's common on these lenses.
It comes from the iris post or lever ratting in between the engagement fork inside, Sold as described no returns.
The iris has still has the click stops and it has 170 degree focus throw.
The service will cost the same or slightly more than the lens is worth this days.
I can't see any scratches or coating marks and the Iris is clean and dry inside there is some dust inside towards the rear of the lens.
Remember these Nikon lenses have reverse focus & the close focus is just under 1' F or 30cm, the F stops are F2.8-F16.
The lens has the front and rear lens caps and has a more solid lens housing construction than the later Ai lenses.
The lenses focus will ideally need some fresh light grease on the focus threads.
