Nicely signed and marked “HOF 76” by Robin Roberts (1926-2010) on a clean Rawlings Official MINOR LEAGUE baseball, which I believe is unique. A 7-time All-Star, 4-time NL wins and 2-time strikeout leader, Roberts was a mainstay for the Phillies from 1948-1961 before spending the final five years of his career with Orioles, Astros and Cubs. He had 286 career victories and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1976.

This ball is part of a large collection I purchased many years ago from the original owner who acquired them personally at various sports memorabilia shows.

 

The signature on this and all of the other baseballs included in my current auction is UNGRADED. I believe it is original and authentic to the period.

 

As for CONDITION, the comments above are my own. Some of the balls may have evidence of stains or toning from long storage, which I’ve tried to capture in the accompanying photos. But be aware that they are NOT professional shots, so review them carefully and judge condition for yourself.
