The Welsh tapestry clothing that I have for sale was my deceasedpartners collection.

For the last 6 nearly 7 years they have all been stored insealed boxes away from light and the pesky moths. prior to that a selection werein semi-regular use and all were stored in a wardrobe (which had beenreinforced due to the weight of them all). And before that I do not know wherethey had been, but they were collected from a wide range of sources over a fewyears. All had come second hand from somewhere else and none had been boughtfrom new as she wasn’t born until the 70’s and didn’t become interested in thestyle until her 30’s.

Which means that a lot of the items had been stored withmoth balls and because of the way they have been stored since I have had themthe moth ball smell is noticeable in most of the items. I have checked and drycleaning can remove the smell of moth balls. all the items are dry clean only andI have no idea which items have been cleaned and when was the last time theywere cleaned.

But having said that you will see from the photographs thatnearly all the items are in very good condition and a large number are inexcellent condition. I have done my best to give you the best representation ofthe items with the photographs that have been listed.

Please look at the photographs for how the measurements weretaken and be aware that if any of the items do have labels then the sizingwould have been sized in the 60’s and as a result may well be different tomodern sizing.
