WILLIAM "WILLIE" RUSHTON (1937-1996) SIGNED CARD (approx 5x3 inches)

Willie Rushton was an English actor, cartoonist, comedian, satirist, writer and performer who co-founded the satirical magazine Private Eye.
His films include Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines (1965), Monte Carlo or Bust! (1969), Keep It Up Downstairs (1976), Adventures of a Private Eye (1977), Adventures of a Plumber's Mate (1978) & Consuming Passions (1988). 
On television he appeared in That Was the Week That Was (1962-63), Not Only... But Also (1970), Up Pompeii (1970), The Persuaders! (1972) & Colditz (1974).

Signed at the BBC Paris Studios, London, almost certainly in the late 1960s-early 1970s.

Originally purchased on eBay from an American dealer, now sadly deceased, whose autographs have been sold by Christies, Sotheby's & Bonhams.
