A vintage 2 litre Kilner jar, produced by Ravenhead.

The Kilner name has been in use for over 150 years, and is a go to product for preserving and storage.

This jar is of the square variety. with a clip top lid. It has its original seal, which has faded over time, but it still does the job, replacements are easy to obtain.

The glass jar itself is in excellent condition, with no chips cracks or crazing!

Around 8.5 inches tall to the top of the lid, it can take just over 2 litres of liquid.

This one held tea bags (but has been very well washed!).
