Offered for your consideration is one (1) vintage Tonegen 19 mm (¾ inch) dome tweeter removed from my LÖGIK L-10 speakers, c.1990. This quality tweeter appears to be a Japanese copy of the Vifa D19TD and was sourced from Tonegen by Canada’s API, the maker of the speakers.

So, please have a look at the large photos I’ve taken, the measurements, and read the remaining description to decide if this capable high frequency driver is correct for your needs.

This tweeter is in clean, excellent overall condition. The soft poly dome is in flawless shape with no dimples or marks. Plus, the thick plastic faceplate is also in great shape with no cracks or scratches and the large ceramic-ferrite magnet is free of oxidation. And, the +/- terminals are keyed for polarity (red = +) and have never been soldered on the spades. It’s exceptionally well-preserved throughout.

Most importantly, this tweeter has been fully tested and has strong, clear and detailed output to its 20kHz upper limit. And, I tested the DC resistance at 7.0Ω, consistent with a nominal 8 ohm driver rating. Lastly, the faceplate measures just under 3¾”, it stands 1” tall, and the three mount holes are spaced 2 15/16” apart, c-t-c.

So, if you have a blown or damaged tweeter in your LÖGIK L-10, or other speaker that uses this tweeter, you’ve found the right listing—your speakers will be sounding their finest once again!

As pictured and described, this terrific Tonegen dome tweeter is offered at a competitive price.
