Interesting old Flugelhorn with rotary valves. The triggers are beautifully decorated with Mother of Pearl, the screws at the back of the valves are beautiful, too! The garland and the bell are nicely engraved.   So I guess it once was a high class instrument! Surprisingly I did not find a makers name on it.  There are dents and bents, the 2nd valve slide is missing and the instrument needs a good cleaning. There is a small crack at one of the dents in the tubing.  Please make sure that you see all the photos!! I dont know what key it plays in, I guess it plays in C? Size of the horn is 36cm/14 1/4inch. The tubing from the bell to the beginning of the mouthpice receiver is115cm / 45 1/4 inches long. Bellsize: 13cm, aprox. 5 1/8inch. The valves are moving quite easy and fast.  The 2 remaining slides and the leadpipe are moveable.

Instrument needs to be repaired, serviced and cleaned. Insured shipping to USA amounts to $ 59. Please also view my other auctions with instruments. shipping more than 1 item may save shippingfees.
