Offered for your consideration is one (1) RCA ½ inch dome tweeter. This mylar dome high frequency driver was removed from a modern center channel speaker made for Radio Shack after they contracted use of the RCA name. I don’t have the center channel's model number since the product decal had fallen off of the back side at some point.

This tweeter is in clean, near excellent condition. The sturdy plastic faceplate is in nice shape but does have a few small scuffs as pictured. Plus, the radiating surface is perfect having been well-protected recessed beneath a wave guide bar. And, the +/- terminals are marked for polarity (red wire = pos) and I’ve left a short length of input wires soldered in place for the new owner’s convenience in retrofitting to their speaker.  Overall, it's quite well preserved.

More importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds great—clear and well-detailed to the limits of audibility and rated at an impressive 50 watts.  And, I tested its DC resistance at 6.0Ω consistent with a nominal 6-8 ohm driver rating. Lastly, the faceplate measures 4⅛” wide x 3⅛” high, the assembly stands 1 3/16” tall, and its press-fit design lacks mount holes requiring a 2½” cutout if a speaker project is planned.

So, as pictured and described, this RCA-branded ½" dome tweeter is offered at a reasonable price.
