I've owned this car for the last 4/5 years. In this time I have slowly been restoring and replacing any worn / tired parts with the the aim of getting it back to its full glory. But life, time and money have gotten the best of me.

This is a great car but could be even better in the hands of somebody with more time and money than me. This is a fully working and running car. But I will say based on the age of the car and what little use I have had out of it over the last year I would advise you do your own judgements on taking it away (Trailor or Drive). I cannot be held liable on any issues when taking it away. SOLD AS SEEN!

A little history on the car.

This car has always started first turn of the key. Last year I had a problem of it intermittently cutting out on acceleration when warmed up for at least 30 minutes. Which turned out to be the ECU which had at least 3 blown capacitors. I replaced all the capacitors on the ECU which which fixed the issue. And restored a lot more life into the unit. In the process of trying to find out what was wrong with the car I ended up doing loads of diagnostics/ replacements. This includes. Replacing Spark Plugs, HT Leads, Dizzy Cap, coolant sensor, throttle body replacement, lambda sensor, coil pack, radiator. Plus there maybe other things I have forgotten. But i basically and went through the whole engines consumables replacement part to get to the bottom of the ECU problem.


Also as part of my restoration effort, I have slowly been replacing all of the hoses in the car including buying the the parts to replace the Pipes from Hell and hoses from hell. Subsequently I have run out of time and energy to do this but the car will come with everything for the job.

I also will note that since I have owned the car, when driving over long distances and putting the car under load the cabin slowly will start to smell like fuel / smokey. When looking into this I am almost certain the exhaust turbo downpipe may be leaking smoke. Under this discovery I started to look into replacing the pipe then this escalated into me finding an looking into rebuilding the whole assembly around this area. Including the turbo. To which I have 2 spare turbos including a full turbo repair kit, full exhaust gasket set plus an upgraded engine to turbo manifold. I never got around to getting a replacement downpipe. If anything, I would say this is the only issue I would say that is outstanding to be looked at.

Other than that cosmetically is where most of the time will need to spend. I have photoed where most rust patches are. 2 patches around the Tbar. Plus the fixing points on the bootlid spoiler (This is because somebody retrofitted a Rev 5 spoiler onto the lid) it was like this when I bought it.

There is no rust on the sills at all. But the sills have slight crumpling from incorrect uses of jack. Overall for the age of this car there is very little rust.


Also one more note. The upper half of the car the clear coat has worn away from the paint so when dry the paint looks terribly dull. I will try to get photos as soon as the weather dries up.


The car will also come with an additional rear spoiler and a spare set of 4 alloys that will all need new tyres, also cabin rear centre box/cupboard, Tbar cover panels.
