Up for purchase is the 1939 Play Ball Ted Williams Rookie Card (greatest hit average of all time).  It is graded a 4.5 by Beckett.  Only 22 of 86 graded higher by Beckett.  That puts it right in the top 25% population.  Centering is better than most.  The mark in the upper left hand corner and one in the lower left hand corner are on the case and not the card (check last two pictures to show it without the shadow from the marks).  There are also some glares on the case that are not discoloration on the card, especially the back (I took down the bad ones and added a couple new ones wothout the stripe looking glares).  Thank you for your interest and message me with any questions.

I wanted to add that I appreciate all the offers I have received; however, this is the last listing I will be able to redo and lower the price for someone and is the lowest I can take considering fees and shipping so I will no longer be responding to offers through messages.  I understand that the market is now switching towards PSA and SGC grading and for this reason I have it priced lower than a PSA 3.5 that sold earlier this month, just in case you want to switch over and are afraid it will drop in grade.  Again, thank you for your interest and time.
