PRICE REDUCED!! WAS $350.00. UPDATED TO SHOW CONDITION OF VALVES. "Columbia" model cornet-trumpet, manufactured by Harry B. Jay, Chicago USA, Circa 1910. Very special condition. Interchangeable leadpipes for trumpet or cornet mouthpieces. Interchangeable slides to permit keys of Bb or A. Super nice condition. Serial number 3404. Not "like-new", but truly a survivor and one of only a few in this condition. See pics. Includes a lightly tattered case as shown. Plays perfectly. Good compression. Good action. Valves and slides all lubricated and working well. This is a nearly-complete ensemble. I believe it originally sold with a cleaning rod and a lyre that somehow became separated from the instrument (maybe a hundred years ago). Time has discolored portions of the valves, but the discoloration is just that: age-related discoloration. It is not corrosion, pitting, rot, rust, etc., and the valves are perfectly smooth, showing little scoring despite age, and each provides excellent compression. Item will ship promptly upon payment. Returns accepted. See photos; everything shown will ship. Sorry, no overseas shipments. Check my rating. Thanks for looking. And thank you for shopping on eBay.
