This handmade adorable faux cherry pie looks good enough to eat! Perfect addition to your tiered tray or other displays. Cherry pie knows no season so you can decorate with it year round. It is made using a small pie tin filled with foam balls painted a cherry color and glued inside. The "crust" is made using hand cut, coffee dyed fabric strips layered like lattice crust. The strips are glued into place. Then spray glue is used to apply fake sugar with sparkling glitter.
The finishing touch is a hand stamped fabric strip with the word cherry attached with a small piece of home spun fabric using a bulb style safety pin. Last, it is adorned with a dollop of fake whipped cream and a faux cherry.
