A fantastic large frog tankard by Peter Currell  - Smith at his Snake Pottery in Gloucestershire ~ one for the Morris Dancers ???

• Traditionally thrown, glazed earthenware
• Rounded shape with scroll handle and thumb rest

Slip inscribed all round and with the words ' KEEP BRITAIN PAGAN' and the date 1984 ( see photo 2) (thanks Nicola!!)

Frog in the base to surprise the unwary drinker !

• Incised P B to base
• 13cm H x16cm including handle x 9cm top diameter
• Excellent, fresh out of the kiln, condition. No chips, cracks or crazing
