This is a vintage Japanese hand thrown ceramic vase for flowers or any other decoration that could use a vessel of this size and shape. It has been high fired for lasting durability. Having been carefully displayed and well cared for in recent decades this vase remains in fine condition.
From a local estate of a life long ikebana practitioner who immigrated from Japan with much of her collection in the 1960's.
