Bob Mitchell - Ontario Progressive Conservative - 1985 provincial election - Riding of Carleton

Bob Mitchell first started in municipal politics in the city of Nepean and in Ottawa-Carleton. He was elected for Bill Davis' Ontario PCs in Carleton in a byelection in 1980. Mitchell served in Frank Miller's cabinet as Minister for Science and Technology and as Government Whip. Mitchell lost his seat in 1987 to Ontario Liberal Hans Daigeler.
