Correspondence sent in an AEROPOSTALE envelope, "1st Direct Transatlantic Air Bag" 06/07/1930 (pilot Jean Mermoz), destination Lisbon.


The LATE 28-3 seaplane, named "Count of LaVaulx" crashed after leaving Natal and had to land in the ocean. The crew and the courier were rescued by ship of the AEROPOSTALE.


The vast majority of correspondence, depending on the destination, did not receive an arrival stamp in Europe.
