Famille Rose porcelain Sure looks like an Open Salt but the bottom does read not for food use so could be just a dish but could be an open salt anyway as one would not actually be eating on this it is gorgeous & unusual  -- the metal rim & claw feet make this piece Extraordinary measures oval porcelain rim to rim 5.5" x 3" the metal rim to rim measures 8"L x 3 5/8"Wide x 1.25"high beautiful overall & really a wonderful & unique piece marked on bottom in a few different places   *overall beautiful but there is a small line crack along the edge near the metal you can barely see it in the pictures, not really noticeable unless you are closely examining this piece  also feel a small crack w my fingers across but you cannot see just only feel  so not perfect but still a great piece for a collector since it is so unusual
