This is the Purple with Blue Hearts I-Dog Amp’d which was released in between late 2008 and early 2009 during the time where the popularity of the I-Dogs was starting to get slightly lower than it used to be before the popularity died somewhere in 2010 during the previous years, where Hasbro decided to introduce the I-Dog Amp’ds as newer models with touch face sensors where you can make them bark, and cooler moves which are head bobs, moving ears up and down, tail wags, and paw taps. The I-Dog Amp’d displays beautiful light patterns, has 8 moods (which are Sick, Sad, Lonely, Bored, Normal, Happy, Excited, and Ecstatic) where they play riffs of their own to express how they’re feeling by your care of playing and/or not playing while turned on, and has REALLY cool moves of head bobbing, paw taps, and even wagging the tail.

This one is part of the four Special Edition colors of the I-Dog Amp’ds (which include the Tan/Cream with Pink Floral Flowers, Dark Green with Neon Wavy Swirls, and Blue with Purple Flowers Amp’ds) which are all very rare to find, but not crazy extremely rare though. The Purple with Blue Hearts I-Dog Amp’d is probably the most common Special Edition Amp’d color produced since those seem to show up a little often than the other three, but still very uncommon to find as usual in the past years.

They were also popular for being played with in try me mode back in the good old days at stores where you can hear them play one of the riffs they all have that make everyone dance to at stores while still new in box. The I-Dog Amp’ds have great stereo speakers that allow them to have better volume control to any of your musical devices like I-pods or MP3 Players that you can use for them when you play music through their aux cords. They also have their own unique riffs which are quite groovy enough to display in each of the moods they’re in and is guaranteed to make you dance to them based how it feels, especially when they’re in ecstatic mood. The Amp’ds are in fact the MOST easiest I-Dog to bring their moods up too!

This beautiful, purple doggo has been tested and works perfectly with no issues! Also, there’s no noticeable scuff marks or dents besides a few minor play scratches but doesn’t affect the I-Dog in any way. Also, has a high pitch too which is pretty unique as all I-Dogs (including the I-Dog Amp’ds) can have different pitches for how they sound when barking and/or playing riffs. It’s also in good condition with no signs of yellowing or discoloration at all.

The aux cord used to plug it in as a music speaker is not included but has been tested with one before and it appears to work fine, but the I-Dog can actually listen to your music without an aux cord as well if you play music with a loud music speaker nearby where the I-Dog can pick up the rhythm with its mic, and start dancing by tapping its paw and bobbing its head to show off its coolest dance moves.

This I-Dog was also rescued from someone who didn’t take the best care of it and had corrosion when it was first received, but thankfully I was able to get most of the corrosion off the contacts, and it powers on perfectly fine with batteries.

This I-Dog is ready to find a new, forever home for anyone who is either a collector or just loves anything 2000s technology like the I-Dogs are one of them. This one has a really great taste of music too! 🎵

The Special Edition Purple Hearts I-Dog Amp’d is always ready to groove to any music you play for it (whether with an aux cord or a music speaker playing nearby), and will show off its coolest moves along with colorful light patterns based on how the rhythm of the music goes while dancing to it. Perfect for those who like things with stereo speakers for your music and/or to just to have as a personal interest regarding I-Dog Amp’ds as models with newer basic features that the previous ones didn’t have years back before the Amp’ds came out. The I-Dog Amp’d is an epic model I-Dog to have and always will be one of the best ones made, especially to those who remember them back then in the mid 2000s during the popularity of the I-Dogs from Hasbro. The I-Dog Amp’ds (like this one) were produced by Hasbro and Tiger Electronics, and distributed by Sega Toys.

This I-Dog is suitable for those who are ages 8 and over which same occurs for all other I-Dog Amp’ds and other models of I-Dogs (like the Original I-Dogs for example). This I-Dog requires 3 AA Batteries (which are not included), and it’s highly recommended by Hasbro to use the good battery types that all I-Dogs prefer like Duracell and Energizer (but NEVER use cheap batteries and/or certain kinds of Duracell and Energizer that say 4X Power Boost as that will make the I-Dog not function properly at all).
