From Vixen's classic line of giant binos; estimated date of manufacture circa early 1990s. These binoculars are heavy (in a good way), with no plastic in sight, and entirely nihon sei (made in Japan). Truly built to last — and very rare.

Please note: There are 2 small labels applied by a previous owner: one on the left side of the barrel housing above the Vixen brand, and the other on the latch closure of the hard case. These labels probably could be removed (perhaps with the help of a little solvent), but NRO did not attempt to do that.

• Original Vixen chrome-lined, leather-surfaced, felt-lined hard case with strap; a few scuffs and a scraped area on front (see photo); there is no key for the lock, but the latch closure mechanism works fine (i.e., it stays shut after snapping the lid shut)
