Licensed for distribution only by McDonald's Corporation. Britannia is a mini plush version of the Original 1997 Ty Beanie Babie. There are two versions of this vintage favorite; one with an embroidered flag on the chest and one with a rare flag as a patch. This version was quickly discontinued due to concerns of quality and counterfeiting. Also this version of Britannia was the only retailed outside the UK.

This 1999 Britannia is one of the more rare versions. Made of brown material, has two eyes and a nose that's the color black. Around Britannia's neck is a red ribbon and on her chest is a PATCH of the Union Flag.

Britannia was the first Beanie Baby to represent the United Kingdom. In the Teenie Bernie Version she is one of four of The Geographic Beanie Babies.

To add to her rarity there is an error on the back of the packaging. Where it reads "Oakbrook, IL U.S.A.".
