Antique Japanese Meiji Era Ceramic Imari Hibachi Brazier Plum blossom Motif 11”

This is an antique Japanese ceramic hibachi likely from the late Meiji era (1868-1912). With a beautifully hand painted motif of plum trees in full bloom. Traditionally in Japan a hibachi is considered an enclosure for fire, usually hot coals sitting on a bed of ash used to help heat small spaces, lite a pipe or warm water for tea.
