This hand sewn cushion is made with a rich purple,green , and bronze brocade damask print fabric.

The interior is nylon lined and stuffed with new Poly-fil.

It has a solid velvet base.

The vintage gold silver EPNS pedestal salt cellar is marked Eales and is from the mid to late 1900’s.

Nice condition for its age with some absence of the plating and free from dings or dents .

Two 3 inch decorative straight pins are included.

Each pin is embellished with freely faceted fire polished beads and glass pearls and antiqued bronze and filigree bead caps handpicked to compliment the pincushion.

Beads are secured with a cemented seed bead.

My grandmother collected salt cellars and amassed a collection of about 5,000 before she passed. I’m very excited to share them. These would make a perfect gift for a sewist, seamstress, or crafter for practical use or display. Or a novelty item for a cellar collector. You won’t be disappointed!!
