This 1971French one franc is a nickel coin that features the Sower, a national emblem ofthe French Republic, on the obverse and an olive branch with the French mottoon the reverse. It was designed by Louis-Oscar Roty and minted in Paris. It hada mintage of 42,475,000 and is the most common date of the series2.
