Nice red clay decorated tankard pitcher with pewter top. Back of top needs repair, or leave alone for display. Some sort of thick decals decorate this piece, it's hard to tell if hand painted. Measures about 7" tall and 3" across top when opened. There is a number 24 in the clay and some painted numbers, but no maker. the design is thick like paint. There is a bottom edge nick, see photos. Top is loose at back, appears to have had a repair which is loose again. I cannot determine the age, but the previous owner bought it from an antique shop. PLease wait for actual shipping, I will invoice once packed, price is a guess. Thanks!
