An old antique African sabre from the Democratic Republic of Congo. The blade is made from forged iron and the handle from wood. This sabre dates to the early 1900's or late 1800's and was used for war and tribal disputes. The knife measures in length 34 inches, 86.5cm, and in diameter at the widest point 2.5 inches, 6.5 cm.
