This colorful Bohemian art glass bowl is blown of satin cased glass. The interior has vibrant colours of yellow, orange, pink and dark red or maroon in the Splatter decor. The rim has a decorative crimp with remnants of hand painted gold along the ruffled rim. The shape of the bowl has a flared section that gives a unique design to compliment.  The low footed base has a ground pontil.

Attributed to Bohemian glasshouse, Harrach or Riedel. Circa. 1890's.

Harrach produced a number of examples with splatter colours, and Riedel produced satin finish art glass bowls with a distinctive crimped design which a few of these examples are similar to this particular shape.
