Exquisitely Molded Butter Crock by Whites of Utica featuring a Deer Hunt. Made between 1890 and 1907 when Whites made its fabulous molded stoneware, this beauty features a Two Hunters with their Trophy Deer on One Side and Two Deer Who Escaped on the Other . Detailed trees and grass provide the background. The lid repeats the grass background along with four additional deer. The base measures 5" tall and 7 3/4" wide. There are six sizes to this series: 1 to 6 in order from smallest to largest. This is the No. 3 which is difficult to find, and this one even has very sharp details and mold lines
