In my opinion one of the best expositions of philosophy and different ideas throughout the ages, and the consequences that follow there from. As you can see the philosophers run from Thales on monism and pluralism through Socrates and Plato. That's just in volume 1. Volume 2 continues with Aristotle Augustine and Aquinas. Volume 3 continues with Aquinas, Descartes, and Leibniz. Volume 4 covers Locke, Berkeley and Hume. Volume 5 picks up with the Enlightenment Kant, Hegel, Marx and Comte. And last but not least volume 6 concludes with Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Russell, and modern philosophers. Condition is pre-owned. The outer case box is in a little rough condition.  Plus volume 1 case has a stain. And last I listen to them, which was a few months ago, all the tapes played fine.
