One Direct Line Red Phone for sale. It is not a functional telephone. It is the small novelty model version.
The receiver can be lifted up and placed back down again.
The phone moves freely on the wheels when you push it. It has been played with so there are some minor surface scratches on the phone.
When you press and hold the keypad, the phone plays the tune for the advert, although it does sound rather crackly. Unfortunately, the previous batteries had corroded inside. I have cleaned it to the best of my ability, however, this might be the cause of the crackliness. Please play the video on this listing to hear the tune!
It requires 3x LR41 or AG3 button cell batteries to play the tune. No batteries included. You will need a 2mm cross-headed screwdriver to open the battery compartment. Screwdriver not included.
Measures approximately 7 cm or two & three quarter inches x 6 cm or two & half inches x 4 cm or one & half inches.
The phone is branded Direct Line underneath. It is made of plastic in the U.K. It is not the Matchbox die cast version.
