Condition. In very good condition.
This is a beautiful 19thc style vintage rug which has some small signs of use and wear but is very well preserved.
The overall needlepoint is intact. There is an organic shape to the rectangular design which is slightly uneven but that is due to its hand constructed quality.
The piece has a delightful charm with pastel colour palette and very soft muted tones~a very typical design in the fashion of the 18th/19thc french high society classical periods.
There are some very small voids where the needlepoint has a lost stitch here and there, and subtle areas of wear but these are very minor and do not affect the overall beauty or aesethetic.
