This solar charger can perform the following functions:
1. Use Solar Panel --> charging battery
2. Use Solar Power --> powering small 12V DC load (*please do not use any inductive type load to avoid damage!)

| I connected solar panel(s) to this charger but unit does not seem to work. Why? |
| |
First, please check the type of solar charger you have, from the user manual and verify the solar charger input requirement. Did you use panels of the suitable voltage & current specs and configure them in the correct formation (series vs parallel)? PV input voltage must be high enough in order to charge batteries. In the case of MPPT solar chargers, PV input voltage should be within "MPPT range".

How many PV panels can I connect to this charger?

This depends on the panel specification. Please check with us if you are unsure. Do not attempt to connect if you are not sure as this may otherwise lead to damage!

Can I use other battery types (non-Lead Acid) with this charger?

| there are 4 main types of default charging portfolios: Vented, Sealed, Gel, and NiCd. Please check the user manual for more information on these setting and use the closest one to your battery type. If charging requirement is too different please do not use it as it may not work well. |

What is the front COM port used for?
|
| |
No, there's currently no remote LCD feature for this device. The front COM port is for factory-setting and any necessary FW update only. Please do not connect it for any other purpose.
