Common Uses

APC Pure produces a range of high quality water grades for a wide range of applications and industries, including industrial applications, laboratory applications, cleaning, rinsing, testing, ironing, automotive batteries and laser cutting.

Our Facility

Located in Manchester, our exceptional new facility which opened in July 2014, allowed us to significantly increase our operational capacity.

Certified to ISO9001:2015 and operating to strict HSE compliance our manufacturing capacity ranges from 100ml to 1600L.

All chemical and reagent products offered by us are manufactured, packed and distributed on site.

Technical

APC Pure operates a full in-house Quality Control Laboratory staffed by qualified scientists.

All products are tested prior to approval for sale, and we retain samples of all products for the life of the product

Distribution

Our in-house distribution teams operate a bespoke automated system and currently handle 50,000 same day shipments per year, going to over 40 countries.

Our system allows any order to reach our distribution team within 5 minutes of being placed, and routinely all orders are picked and packed within 60 minutes of being received.

All distribution staff are ADR trained and we have qualified Sea and Air packers to ensure all products are shipped in compliance with national regulations.

Shipping

Shipping Disruptions

Due to ongoing Royal Mail strikes, we cannot guarantee the normal delivery time of orders.

We will pick and pack your order on receipt, and it will be dispatched the next available working day that Royal Mail returns to normal operations.

Please note these strikes are outside of our direct control and we apologise to our customers on behalf of Royal Mail due to any inconvenience caused.

BREXIT UPDATE

Following the UK's departure from the EU on 1 January 2021, all shipments are sent on a DAP Basis (Delivered at Place).

This means that the buyer will be liable for import VAT at their prevailing national rate. For orders over €150 including carriage import duties will become chargeable at your prevailing national rate.

The Duty is ascertained by your national customs authority based on the HS Code of each product.

General Information.

APC Pure aims to ship all orders received by 11am on the same working day.

Please note however this is subject to off the shelf availability of the product ordered, our stock fluctuates hourly and if not available from shelf stock it may take 24/48 hours for the product to be re-bottled.

All orders received during out of office hours or at weekends will be actioned on the next available working day. Please note Monday is a extremely high volume day and we can not guarantee despatch.

If your delivery is urgent/time sensitive please contact us to confirm if your order is available for immediate shipping.

Whilst we are confident that our packing is sufficient for UK Courier transport, in the event of damage or spillage please refer to the relevant safety data sheet provided by us before attempting to handle the product. If you do not have a safety data sheet for the product these can be provided on request.

Postage Costs

Our postage costs vary depending on the type of product ordered, the hazard and the weight.

Your Postage options will be clearly priced and you can select the method you prefer.

If your postcode is classed as REMOTE(see below), there may be additional charges incurred.

Royal Mail

For all non hazardous items permitted by Royal Mail. All items are outer bagged and shipped in large letter envelopes or sturdy outer cardboard boxes, as appropriate. All items will have orientation labels on as well as a return address label.

APC Over Night Courier

APC overnight accept non-hazardous parcels and hazardous materials compliant with Limited Quantity Regulations

We clearly mark all hazardous materials in accordance with the ADR regulations.

All items are bagged or double bagged, shipped in sturdy cardboard boxes, or as required UN Certified Boxes.

Our courier treats the following locations as REMOTE, and as such a surcharge will be applicable for all courier shipments:

DHL European Road Express

APC Pure is a DHL International Approved Shipped for all European & Worldwide Shipments GB Air, Road & Sea.

Returns Policy

Before your order is dispatched, you may cancel your order and receive a full refund. 
Once your order is dispatched, you would need to return the item to us in accordance with our return conditions below.

Please contact us first before returning your item so that we can make notes on your order and to expect receipt of the returned product.

If damaged on arrival please provide photographic evidence of the product, ensuring to be careful around any hazardous substances. Weighing the product will also allow us to identify product loss in the event of a replacement order being required.

Return Conditions

The following conditions must be met in order for your return to be approved:

(a) We receive the returned product within 30 days following the date of delivery of the product;

(b) The returned product is unused, in its original unopened packaging, with any seal or shrink-wrap intact, with any labels still attached, and otherwise in a condition enabling us to sell the product as new;

(c) The product has been returned by an appropriate courier, and in the case of hazardous products, this must be an ADR approved courier with appropriate legal markings.

Returns Procedure

In order to qualify for this returns policy, you must:

1. Request a return through ebay, and return the product to us within 30 days of delivery to the buyer.

2. Provide information on method of return.

3. Place any order reference of your returned item on or in the returned item to enable identification upon receipt by the seller.

4. Send by a trackable service as a signature will be the only legal confirmation that the company has received the item.

Exclusions

The following kinds of products may not be returned under this policy:

(a) Any product that has been opened or on which the seal has been broken

Refunds

We will give you a refund for the full price of any product properly returned by you in accordance with the terms of this returns policy excluding the original delivery charges and excluding the costs of returning the product to us.

The refund will be processed within 5 working days of receipt of the return, by the original method of payment.

Improper Refunds

Where you return a product in contravention of this policy (and where you do not have any other legal right to return the product):

(a) We will not refund or exchange the product;

(b) We may retain the returned product until you pay to us such additional amount as we may charge for re-delivery of the returned product.

Non Signed For (Called For Items)

Our authorised couriers will make every effort to deliver your item. We will provide you with information at time of shipping to allow you to monitor your shipment. it is the responsibility of the buyer to monitor their shipment and to take any action required to assist with delivery or to communicate with our couriers.

Where an item is returned to us “not called for”, “not home”, we will retain the item until such time as a further delivery charge is paid or a refund for the original cost of the item excluding delivery charge + any return charges has been agreed.

If an item is refused at point of delivery, then no refund of any nature will be agreed to.
