This wonderful mechanized German bisque doll is marked on the back of its neck:

There are some mold flaws in the bisque but the doll is otherwise in very good condition.
The rug is oriental and is hand-tied silk.
The mechanism in the back and underside of the display is in working order and causes the right arm of the doll to raise and lower the 'wire paddle' to beat the rug.
It is marked "Flexo-Action Merkle Korff Gear Co. Chicago, Ill. Pat. Appl'd. for." There are a number of indistinguishable serial numbers on the motor.
The overall dimensions of the display with plexiglass covering measures 26 5/8" long by 14 3/8" wide by 15" high. The doll itself measures 14" long by 5" wide by 6" high.
