Q - Is this an original road sign or exact replica ?

A - No, this is not an original sign, it is a sign done in cast in the style of the old Irish signs.

Q - I do not see my town in your drop-down list, is it available ?

Yes, if it is an Irish town we can make it, send us an eBay message with your town name

Q - Can you customize signs for other themes like family names, sports or placenames outside Ireland ?

A - No, sorry, currently the road signs are only made for Irish Counties and Irish place names

Q - What is the size of the sign ? Can I get the sign in other sizes ?

The sign measures 10.25" x 4.5" inches. This size works best for us taking into account shipping cost and fragile nature of sign

Q - Why are some town signs a higher price than others ?

A - Each new town sign which has not been previously been made requires the preparation and setting of a new cast mould with extra cost and labour involved. Town signs that we have previously produced are a lower price as they do not require a new cast mould to be laid

Q How long before my road sign ships ?

A - The signs are custom made handpainted by our road sign maker. The signs are in high demand and will generally ship about 4 weeks after purchase. To avoid disappointment please makes sure that you place your order in plenty of time for special events like Christmas and birthdays

Q What is the cost of shipping ?

A - Shipping to outside Europe from Ireland costs approximately US$13. We will discount shipping where possible on orders of more than 1 sign.

Q How is the sign made ?

A - Our signs are individually crafted. A special cast mould is prepared for each sign. The mould is then cast in plaster. Once set it is then dipped in special hardener and resin. The sign is then handpainted and left to dry.

Q - Is my sign suitable for outdoor use ?

A - The signs are made for indoor use. That said, some customers have displayed the signs outdoors and they should last for a considerable amout of time depending on the clemency of the weather !
