Priority shipping within Europe takes approx 7 - 13 working days (excluding Russia, mediterranean Islands and offshore states which may take longer)

Priority shipping to the rest of the world takes approx 
8 -15 working days.

Brand New Brown Handmade

Polish Royal Wooden Chess Set


This basic entry level wooden chess set is handmade in the mountain region of Southern Poland, using timber from sustainable sources. It may have minor imperfections on the board or pieces, but nothing that will affect the use of the item.

The board doubles up as a box with a plastic insert to hold the pieces. The design is burnt into the wood.  The dark squares are stained brown, the lighter squares are natural wood. The number/letter references are stained black. The board has a lacquered finish

The dark playing pieces are stained brown, the light pieces are natural wood and have a lacquered finish.

The board measures approx 31cm x 31cm x 2.25cm / 12 inches x 12 inches x  0.87 inches when open and approx 31cm x 15.5cm x 4.5cm / 12 inches x 6 inches x 1.75 inches when closed.

The kings stand approx 65mm tall. 

The total weight of this chess set is approx 600g.
