Dystopian Wars - Empire of the Blazing Sun: Ground Fortifications

Summary: 3 terrain pieces for Dystopian Wars.

Imagine a world similar to our own, but subtly different. Now imagine the year is 1870 and the Industrial Revolution occurred decades earlier than in our own world. Technology is far advanced, and in many cases, unrecognisable, which has led to the development of fantastic naval vessels, hulking land ships and terror from the skies in the form of airships and war balloons. The Dystopian Wars game is set in a Victorian Steampunk world and you command one of the great imperial powers of Dystopian Wars, you can choose to defend your territories from foreign incursion, or you can conquer the world. The choice is yours...

The Empire of the Blazing Sun was officially born in 1822 with the coronation of Empress Maya. She inherited not only an island nation but also a scattering of territories her predecessor had wrested from the hands of the Chinese Federation, as well as most of the islands scattered throughout the Pacific. She would move to extend this dominion by invading Korea, though all this would achieve ultimately is the scarring of the Imperial Army, twisting it into the force that it is today. Whilst unable to truly rival the dominions of other superpowers, the Empire of the Blazing Sun was far richer in terms of resources, controlling many volcanic areas which gifted the Empress precious and rare metals. Now that Empress Shizuna has been crowned, she feels it is her duty to bring the Blazing Sun forth into a new world, one where her nation's flag will fly throughout the entire Pacific region.

Inside this box is a line of Empire of the Blazing Sun Fortifications. Geographically the smallest of the Great Powers, Blazing Sun Commanders know the price that is to be paid if even an inch of the Empresses’ territory should be lost to a foreign aggressor. As a result, although appearing as feudal castles, Blazing Sun Towers and Bunker Complexes are in fact near indestructible modern fortresses of concrete and Sturginium-alloy steel, armed from floor to rafters with mighty guns and flaming rocketry. Fortifications make a useful addition to an Armoured Fleet, or can make a fun addition to Scenario games.

Contains: 2 x Tower Sets and 1 x Bunker Complex.

Pack contains three terrain pieces.  Miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly.  Bunker is about 3 3/4" long.  Towers are about 2 1/8" tall.
