Sterling Silver Electric Guitar Ring - adjustable wrap
Description:
You are bidding on a beautiful, adjustable, solid sterling silver ring. I designed and fabricated this ring myself and then had it cast. Since it is a wrapped style, it can be adjusted to fit sizes 6 -12. You can squeeze it closed or pull it open yourself, or let me know what size you want it and I will do it for you. The position pictured is a size 8.

I have been making jewelry as a hobby for several years now and have finally decided to sell my wares. One day my husband (who also plays guitar) asked me to make him a guitar ring... so here it is! I haven't posted much on eBay but have been selling at fairs and galleries. So far, this is one of only a few that I have made - he wears one, I wear one, and due to a successful sales and happy customers, I've made more to sell. This ring is truly unique and you won't find this anywhere else... unless of course a miracle happens and I get a gazillion requests for them :) While I am flattered that someone in Israel has attempted to copy my design, I am happy to report that I have seen feedback that those forgeries are of poor quality. Be assured that this is my original, copyrighted design and I make each one myself with the highest quality! About the Artist (Me!):
Raised in southern New York State, I have always been interested in art. I hold Bachelors and Masters degrees in computer science from Iona College where I also studied art. I operate my studio in Newtown, Connecticut where I design and produce fine jewelry, photographs and other handcrafted items.
I studied silversmithing, lapidary, and glass manipulation under some highly esteemed jewelers and glass artists including Fredricka Kulicke, Lessley Burke, Joy Raskin, Linda Banks, Annemarie Ciuffini, Stephanie Maddalena, and Kurt Patzlaff. Each piece is handmade one at a time with great attention to detail. Custom designed jewelry is available by request.
My jewelry work includes fabricated silver, fused and lampworked glass, and enamels. I take inspiration from my interests in nature photography, the Florida Keys, and music, and I incorporate those elements into my designs.
I also enjoy working on special requests for custom items and giving classes to share my skills. All of my jewelry is made by hand in my private studio using time honored fabrication methods making each piece unique. Custom pieces are not identical to the original because every piece of jewelry is individually handmade and no two pieces are ever exactly alike. The design may be similar, the overall size of the piece will be the same, and the colors will be the same, but the shape or image may be slightly different.
