Harald Glööckler

Harald Glööckler , ( * 30 May 1965 in Maulbronn - Zaisersweiher ) is a German fashion designer  and entrepreneur who became particularly known for his rhinestone and sparkling creations . trademarks Glööckler is a crown motif , which is often supplemented by a " POMPÖÖS " lettering.Glööckler parents had an inn . He has a younger brother .  According to him, his mother died during his youth as a result of a fall caused by his father staircase . Officially, the cause of death was an accident been given. He had a word with the Father spoken in the following years , who died in 1992.Glööckler interested in his youth for fashion and sewing evening dresses for friends . He trained as a retail merchant in the fashion department store sower and worked as a salesman in the men's department of a fashion house in the precinct. On 30 November 1987 , he opened with his partner and manager , the Haberdasher Dieter Schroth, the business of fashion " jeans Garden" in Stuttgart , where they sold initially designed mainly of Glööckler jeans and shirts.  Later the name was changed the fashion business in " Pompöös " . 1990 both founded a fashion label under the same name . In 1994, she organized the first own fashion show at the New Castle in Stuttgart . For the fashion show , a song titled Pompöös is my life was produced , which included a music video was shot . After the performance on their own fashion show Glööckler entered 1995 with Dieter Schroth and other members in costume as a music group Pompöös , among other television shows in the nightclub Cauldron , Arabella and RTL night show. In the same year he won Gina Lollobrigida and Chaka Khan as customers and became friends with them. Lollobrigida opened its second fashion show that took place in Stuttgart's old riding school in 1995 , there were also Chaka Khan and Grace Bumbry on . 1997 Glööckler was invited with his fashion show to mark the tenth anniversary of the International Exhibition Fabric Asia after Hong Kong. When he returned from Hong Kong, there were differences with a silent partner , who in 1998 retired from the company in the dispute . Business in Stuttgart then had to be closed. He was invited to Rome by Lollobrigida and learned from her to know his love for painting . Back in Stuttgart in 1998 , he opened an art gallery with your own pictures . In the same year Glööckler was invited to Düsseldorf fashion fair CPD for which he hosted the opening show , also on the Brigitte Nielsen unveiled their fashion .In 2000 Glööckler moved from Stuttgart to Berlin. There he visited the 2002 Jingle Bells Christmas Revue at the Friedrichstadt Palace with his creations and created 350 costumes for the dancers. In 2003 he received from the Berlin tabloid BZ Bear prize awarded and the Berlin city magazine tip elected him one of the " 100 most embarrassing Berlin " . In 2009, he called the Euro 5000 doped with Harald Glööckler Angel Award to life , with whom he honors women each year who have distinguished themselves with humanity and social commitment. 2011 Glööckler designed for the discounter Lidl own jewelry collection .  In 2012 he created women's clothing and accessories in cooperation with the shipping dealer bonprix and next brought out its own wallpaper collection . Glööckler lives with his life and business partner Dieter Schroth in Berlin.  He is the ambassador of the German children 's charity and there patron of Kindernothilfefonds . For the animal rights organization PETA , he settled in 2004 with the slogan " animals wear fur , people wear fashion " depict naked. According to the statement of Glööckler he was an inspiration for Sacha Baron Cohen to its title character from the film Brüno . After Glööckler was in Berlin in 2004 met with the CEO of the home shopping channel HSE24 , he began in Germany with the sale of its products through television .
