1. PLEASE NOTE THAT WHEN YOU HAVE YOUR CYLINDER BORED OUT YOU MUST HAVE THE PISTON FIRST SO THEY CAN MEASURE THE PISTON THEN BORE THE BLOCK! If your machine shop tries to bore the block before they have the piston, go to a different machine shop because they do not know what they are doing.
  2. FIRST: You take your block to a machine shop, they will tell you what size to purchase
  3. SECOND: Then you order your piston, then take your piston to the machine shop so they can measure the piston, add in the tolerances and bore the cylinder. I've done this for along time and this is how you do it if you want it done right
  4.                  10hp K 241  The measurements are not for machine shop use. The machine shop must have the new piston to bore the cylinder.

    Standard cylinder bore........3.251"

    +.010 .................................. 3.261"

    +.020....................................3.271"

    +.030....................................3.281"
