The
materials and build quality of a Yamaha engine means it's already highly
resistant to corrosion. The addition of a sacrificial anode only improves this
further. As a first line of defence an anode is meant to corrode instead of
your engine. Anodes can be easily replaced and should be changed when showing
signs of corrosion to protect your engine against costly damage.
(Unsure? - just email or call quoting the horsepower, model / serial
number for your engine)
