This adorable Terra Cotta (Terre Cuite) sculpture was made in France in the Art Deco Period, late 1920s or early 1930s. The bust is of a young beautiful girl, happily smiling. It is well finished, very smooth and detailed. The base is signed by the artist: D. Daniel. The back is engraved with the number 71.
Condition is excellent for a soon to become an antique by definition :-)
Just one little very old chip at the lower right corner, already patinated with time, hardly seen. See pictures.
