DescriptionHere is a fabulous antique rare angel skin coral Demeter & sickle Cameo brooch. The brooch measures one & a quarter inches by over one & half inches and is all set in a gold coloured mount, which i havent tested. Inset is a beautiful cameo, which is made of angel skin coral, so a lovely pink colour and the cameo is fabulous quality of demeter in exquisite detail with the corn in the hair & a sickle to her dress and highly carved in good clear detail. The cameo has a pin and Cclasp working well & it dates very clearly to the victorian period and just needs a clean, but i have left it as it is and i have never seen this example before with the sickle. However this really is a beautiful antique cameo brooch in very good complete origional complete condition and such a unusual rare example, highly carved, in fabulous detail and highly collectable
