Selling items for my mother, her cherished collectibles, as well as from Vintage Estate Jewelry and Collectible items from other estates we have inherited and acquired over the past few years.  Some estate items are newer, within the last 4-10 years, but purchased and barely worn and just stored with estate collection.  Please do not expect store bought perfect new items! Our items are sold 'AS IS' or Vintage, meaning used condition, will show some signs of age, use, and wear expected with a pre-owned, used item.  We will never guarantee our items to be in perfect condition, but then you would be paying department store prices!  If items are clearly marked, we do not have it acid tested, especially if markings include designer’s markings.  Unmarked items we have tested.  If natural hairline internal cracks in stones, loose settings (that normally happen over the years) bother you, or expect perfect, then you do not want Vintage.  Even jewelry that is brand new tends to have flaws.  This is all Antique Art Deco/Nouveau, Victorian, Vintage and newer Collectible jewelry, all newer items have been stored and are still part of the humongous estate collection and may have been worn, but minimally.  Silver jewelry with stones sometimes loosen over the years, and stones shift and accumulate hairline cracks. This is part of the charm of vintage jewelry.  Anything distracting we will note in our listings, anything damaged we do not list.  Of course we may miss some flaws even after examining and we do apologize, but we have also issued refunds for those (which have been few).  We have researched all items, but are not experts, and have some great local resources, but please ask questions or share your knowledge too!  We do not list anything that we would not wear ourselves!

THIS AUCTION:  Wonderful round late 1880’s bronze / brass hinged box, hand painted enamel and foil portrait of a lady on front, stamped FRANCE on the bottom.  The portrait is very intricately detailed, unusual colored flowing hair.  The portrait is in very nice condition, may have a few minor surface scratches but we could not see hardly anything even with a loupe and mostly just has a little dirt and dust (we have not even tried to clean, we leave that up to the new owner),  we will include several close ups so you can decide.  The portrait has an iridescence that just jumps out at you, due to the foiled areas.  The portrait porcelain disc is set in the center top of front lid, ornate floral filigree on the lid, solid flush design on the rest of the box.  The portrait measures approx. ¾ inch diameter measured across.  Most of any wear is strictly on the bottom, shelf wear, and inside from normal use, some slight staining and moderate wear from jewelry or whatnot.  Inside it has a pale gold colored padded lining on the inside lid as well as the bottom and inside sides of the case, feels like a brushed cotton velvet, side open seam that appears to be original.  The bronze/brass has a beautiful warm patina.  The hinge is in very good working condition, opens and shuts just fine.  Box measures approx. 3 inches in diameter, measured across, stands 1 2/16 inches high, inside is approx. ¾ inches deep.  We will let the pictures give you a much better description, more than words alone!  Part of estate collection, admired for years!  Take a look at pictures!   Read our feedback!  Incredible deals here!  All condition of items are nice and may only need a gentle cleaning due to dust from not being worn or stored away for quite a few years.  As a general rule, we leave all vintage and antique jewelry in their current condition since most desire the items to be received in their lovely vintage or antique condition.  Leaving most of the descriptions up to the pictures, so ask any questions and we will be happy to get back to you as soon as we can!  Lucky winner pays via PAYPAL.  Please read our return policy.  We will gladly issue a 100% refund for any items we have not described accurately, which isn’t often, but we can make mistakes.  We feel our listings and pictures will give you enough information to make your decision. But again, we welcome your questions.
