This is a brand new heavy duty 4" linear actuator. This acutuator measures 12" closed and 16" open. These actuators are perfect for raising and lowering hoods, trunks, tonneau covers, tailgates, truck covers, rumble seats, and much more! Use your imagination! If it can be raised, lowered, opened, or closed; this actuator can do it! Our actuators have a built-in clutch to prevent over and under extension of the main gear. This heavy duty clutch ensures the long life and smooth operation of each actuator. Other features of our actuators include: Screw drive assembly Capable of lifting up to 250 pounds 4" total travel 10:1 Gear Ratio for powerful extension and retraction High Torque electric motor Motor draws approximately 5 amps Permanently sealed and lubricated (ensures long life) These actuators have a max load rating of 250 pounds.
